Ginger

Ginger improves circulation in all parts of the body. This fragrant root can relieve stomach pain and has been used for centuries for this purpose. Additional bonus: scientists have found that ginger inhibits the release of vasopressin, a hormone that is said to be responsible for nausea caused by motion sickness.
For the Medical School of Salerno (Italy), the first founded in Europe in the Middle Ages, ginger is considered to fight against many diseases: 'Hot ginger rightly opposes the coldness of the stomach, kidneys and lungs, quenches the thirst, revives, excites the brain, in youth awakens young and new love.'
Apart from our kitchens where ginger is a spice that perfumes many dishes, the root can be used in decoction, for example, infused for at least 5 minutes, after a meal to facilitate digestion. For the same effects, ginger can also be used reduced to powder, mixed with honey or jam.
Its external use is more unknown. In the form of essential oil, it can be prescribed against rheumatism. Its anti-inflammatory power makes it possible to significantly reduce the intensity of symptoms.
